"Will the Real Preacher Stand Up” came out of many conversations, experiences, and research with the purpose to link one voice to a larger discussion about authority, power, religion and women in the pastoral ministry. I interviewed many men and women about this subject matter. Many heard my appeals through sermons, conferences, retreats, workshops, and during class at Patten University. My mentors and friends encouraged and prompted me to publish the findings, experiences and insights gained during my growth process. “Real Preacher” is an expression of love and thanks to those who nurtured me into my apostolic-pastoral call in God’s Ministry.
